Microsoft has apologized for an email that it sent out yesterday. The email was sent from a Microsoft University Recruiter named Kim.
The message went viral on social media after a recipient"s roommate posted it to Twitter. It greeted potential interns with "HEY BAE INTERN

The email was poorly worded and not in keeping with our values as a company. We are looking into how this occurred and will take appropriate steps to address it.
This isn"t the first time that Microsoft has had to make a public apology this year, or even the second. Back in March, the company apologized for holding an Xbox party with all female dancers. That same month, the firm had to pull its Tay bot from Twitter (the last time it attempted to connect to the younger generation) due to it becoming a racist.
