Microsoft Arrow Launcher updated with memory optimization and new gestures

If you have an aptitude for customizing your Android home screen and enjoy using Microsoft Arrow, you will be pleased to know Microsoft has sent out a new update today.

It has been just over two months since Microsoft last updated their Android Launcher. The update, while small in size, brings the version number up from 2.2 to 2.7.

Along with this jump are a few performance enhancements and a new swipe down to search gesture. Microsoft is also claiming Arrow is 10% more efficient than previous versions. Whether this is a noticeable change remains to be seen.

You can read the full changelog below:

  • Performance. Arrow is 10% more memory efficient than the previous version.
  • Swipe down to search. We’ve made search easier to find.
  • Customize the grid layout of apps page. 4×5, 4×6, and more options at your fingertips.
  • “Recent” page: customize the types of content you want to display.
  • Bug fixes: wallpaper, widgets, and more.

You can download Arrow Launcher from the Google Play Store.
