Microsoft boosts Sway appeal with Bing image integration

Microsoft has announced this morning that Sway is getting a new feature, Bing image search integration. This feature is now available for Sway users and is only the start of the improvements that will be coming to the platform.

With the update, you can now search for images inside of Sway which makes creating content easier, but this is only the start for Bing image search. Microsoft is using machine learning techniques to help surface relevant images too, making it not only easier to add images but faster too.

While Sway is still in a preview state, the platform is evolving and will play a new role in the Office suite when the application is completed. If you are curious about how Sway and PowerPoint differ, you can read about that here.

This update to Sway is a logical one as it brings together two of Microsoft"s assets into one location. Considering that Microsoft is integrating Bing into everything, this move should not surprise anyone either.

As Sway gets closer to RTM, expect to see more features and services integrated into the platform too.
