Microsoft cuts 15% off Band 2 price in the UK, now available for £169.99

Microsoft"s Band 2 went on sale in the UK a month ago, and it didn"t take long before it got its first discount of £10 via Amazon. Now, you can pick up the new health- and fitness-focused wearable with an even bigger discount, from none other than Microsoft itself.

The Microsoft Store has cut £30 off the Band 2, a 15% reduction on its regular price of £199.99, which means you"ll pay £169.99 at the checkout. The discount will remain available until January 3, 2016.

By the way, that"s the same price at which its predecessor, the original Microsoft Band, first went on sale in the UK. Despite massive savings in recent weeks on the first-gen device - falling to as little as £49.99 with a free additional charging cable - it"s now back at its original price on the Microsoft Store, although it"s available elsewhere for a lot less.

Microsoft delivered a significant update to the Band 2 last week, adding new music controls, reminders to get up and move around if you"ve been inactive for too long, and more.
