Microsoft offers deep price cuts on Xbox 360 games

Batman: Arkham City is one of the many Xbox 360 disc games on sale at Microsoft"s store site for just $9.99.

While the official Microsoft Store website is currently taking pre-orders for the Xbox One and its accessories, it looks like the company is going to try to clear its inventory of many of its Xbox 360 disc games before the launch of the Xbox One this November.

The store"s site currently shows 100 Xbox 360 games with some deep price cuts, including many recently released games that are now priced as low as $9.99. Some of those games at that price point include Batman: Arkham City, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, Syndicate, Max Payne 3, Dead Island, The Witcher 2 and SoulCalibur V.

Other games with big price cuts include Dead or Alive 5 and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition for $10.99, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Sleeping Dogs for $12.99. Borderlands 2 for $19.99, Far Cry 3 for $27.99 and Crysis 3 for $31.99; you can even save some money on an official Xbox 360 8 GB USB flash drive from SanDisk. It"s on sale on the store site for $9.99 and comes with a free one month subscription for Xbox Live Gold.
