Microsoft professes its love for Apple developers with a slew of domain purchases

At Build 2015, Microsoft started the process of building bridges to all developers, including those who have only previously built apps for iOS and Android. With new tools to help convert these existing apps to the Microsoft world, the company has picked up a few new domain names to go with the tools.

Microsoft has registered a few new domains that profess their love for Apple devs including Microsoftlovesappledevelopers.com; you can check out the full list below.

If you take a look at the Whois information for each domain, you will see that Microsoft is the owner of each URL.

Microsoft registers hundreds, if not thousands, of domains a year and may never use these - or they could simply be used for protecting the brand as well. One other reason could be that the company may have a marketing plan coming soon and they will need these assets for the promotional material.

If nothing else, they show that Microsoft does love Apple developers and with their new efforts to make it easier to port iOS apps to the Windows Store, don"t be surprised to see the company get even more cozy with this crowd.

Thanks for the tip @BAV0!
