Microsoft rolling out fix for Lumia 535 touchscreen issues

We’ve all been focused on the roll-out of Lumia Denim lately, but Microsoft is also launching a smaller update for the Lumia 535. This one is, arguably, a lot more important than Denim, as it fixes the touchscreen usability issues that users have been experiencing.

The new update was just announced by the company and is seemingly bundled together with the Denim firmware, though it’s currently only rolling out in ‘select markets’. Checking Microsoft’s country list it looks like most of Europe is getting the update, and that a global roll-out will follow very soon.

The latest version of the OS, alongside the latest firmware is supposed to fix touchscreen issues that many users of the Lumia 535 had noticed. The company had previously stated that it was working on a fix and it’s great to see them address a serious problem in a short period of time.

If you’re not seeing the update just yet, give it a few hours as the new bits are just being rolled out.
