Microsoft shows 130+ new Windows-based devices at Computex

For all those computer hardware enthusiasts you will be well aware that currently the Computex 2011 trade show is running in Taipei to show off the latest new and upcoming technologies. It turns out that at the show, Microsoft is making a big stand, showcasing more than 130 new Windows-based devices to consumers and companies.

Out of that number, nearly 100 of them reside within Microsoft’s booth at the show according to WinRumors. Ranging from notebooks and ultraportables to gaming rigs and high performance laptops, all the computers shown off by Microsoft at the event will be available soon or immediately. Along with the computers shown, Microsoft also had phones, televisions, servers and handhelds on display.

Addressing those at Computex, Microsoft’s OEM Division vice president said “Investments in new technologies that simplify experiences and improve the way we interact with devices remain a Microsoft priority. Natural user interface (NUI) technologies and rich cloud services built into the Windows platforms help deliver immersive experiences to customers, and enable countless new business opportunities for our device partners.
