Microsoft teams up with Nordcloud to boost the spread of AI

Microsoft believes that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will soon become mainstream and globally revolutionize every industry. To that end, it has been forming a number of partnerships in recent months. In fact, just over a week ago, Microsoft and Adaptive Biotechnologies announced their intentions to use AI to decode the immune system. Similarly, last month, the tech giant teamed up with multinational services company Fujitsu to advance the evolution of ways in which people work in different companies.

Today, Nordcloud, a leading provider of cloud services in Europe, has announced a partnership with Microsoft to deploy Azure AI-based solutions. The companies ultimately intend to advance the use of AI across Europe.

With the use of Azure, Nordcloud aims to help customers complete AI projects in a shorter amount of time, and with reduced costs. The Nordic cloud provider has had plenty of experience in working with the Azure Platform in the past. Customers will be allowed to make use of the entire Azure AI stack to develop improved features for existing solutions, and hence, increase the rate at which these technologies are adopted by businesses.

Nordcloud shares Microsoft"s belief that AI will be the driving force behind next generation digital services with enhanced customer experience. Jan Kritz, the cloud company"s CEO, agrees with reports that highlight the competitive advantage gained by early adopters of Artificial Intelligence.

Similarly, Antti Alila, Microsoft"s Cloud and Enterprise Lead, noted the significance of partnering up with Nordcloud in advancing the use of AI to help an enterprise gain an innovative edge:

"Nordcloud has already delivered AI projects for its clients. This is important to stress: AI is here and now and helping businesses innovate and gain a competitive edge. Nordcloud has partnered with Microsoft for jointly deploying Azure AI-based solutions for our enterprise customers."

The companies believe that their joint venture will prove useful in assisting a much wider range of businesses to adopt the next generation of AI-based digital solutions.
