Microsoft video shows the new All-In-One Media Keyboard getting tested

As we reported earlier today, Microsoft will launch a new PC keyboard product later this month. Microsoft"s All-in-One Media Keyboard is designed to work with certain "Smart TVs" so they can better handle functions and features such as web browsers and apps.

Microsoft has sent Neowin a video, shown above, that demonstrates how the company tested the All-in-One Media Keyboard in its labs. As you can see, the keyboard got a good water soaking in the labs and also held onto the weight of a rather large metal block. We then see that those same scenarios could happen to the keyboard in a real-world situation, like a baby spilling his cup on the keys or a man who inadvertently sits on his keyboard while sitting down on the couch.

The same video shows the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse being bent over and over again to make sure the mouse remains useful. Finally, the video shows one of the company"s PC web cameras being tested to make sure it is registering the right colors on its lens.

While Microsoft"s hardware accessories division tends to not receive the same amount of attention as its Xbox One or Surface device counterparts, the video seems to show the company"s commitment to those PC hardware add-ons.
