Moto X 2015 specs leak online

Ask any Android fan to recommend a device and chances are that several will pick either Google"s own Nexus range or Motorola"s Moto X range. While the former offers the Android experience as Google imagined it, the latter offers stock Android with some useful additions by Lenovo"s subsidiary.

The Moto X 2013 offered impressive specs and the Moto X 2014 improved on these even further but newly leaked specs suggest that the Moto X 2015 could be the handset that makes the world really sit up and take notice. The leaked specs were published by STJS Gadgets Portal and should be taken with a hefty dose of salt as the publication claims to have received the information through "insiders", whom suggest the Moto X 2015 will feature:

  • 5.2 inch AMOLED QHD display
  • 16MP Clear Pixel rear camera
  • 5MP front facing camera
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor
  • 4GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB internal storage
  • 3280 mAh battery

Based on these specs, the Moto X 2015 will offer an experience that"s better than even Google"s own QHD-equipped Nexus 6 phablet. The publication also suggest we could see the handset announced in the coming month and with Lenovo holding their global event in Beijing at the end of May, this may yet turn out to be true.

As mentioned above, we"re treating these specs with a healthy dose of skepticism as they seem to be a combination of clever estimates and a geek"s wishlist. We"ll keep an eye out for more info on the Moto X 2015 and let you know when we hear more.
