Motorola One Action unboxing and first impressions

Motorola"s One Action is all about, well action. The big selling point of the device is wide-angle video recording, capturing four times as much as a standard camera. In fact, Motorola says it"s the first ultra-wide action cam.

The camera itself has three lenses, including a 12MP standard sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. Video recording capabilities are 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps; however, the dedicated ultra-wide video camera is 1080p.

The 6.3-inch FHD+ display is an incredible 21:9, which is the biggest aspect ratio that I know of. The LCD also has a hole-punch cutout for the 12-megapixel front camera, which also means that there"s no notch. It"s powered by a Samsung Exynos 9609 chipset, which has four Cortex-A73 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores.

The Motorola One series is really about specialty features; they"re devices that are meant to be really good at one thing. For the One Action, it"s the action cam. Check out the unboxing video below:
