Nexus 6 pricing goes live in 12 more markets - but still no word on shipping dates

Google’s new Nexus 6 has been available for pre-order in the US since the end of October, but those in other parts of the world hoping to get their hands on the giant handset have been left waiting. But the wait could soon be over in a dozen countries, as the company has quietly added Nexus 6 prices and details to its Google Play Store in twelve new markets, as Android Community reports.

Available in 32GB and 64GB flavours, the Nexus is the showcase handset for Google"s new OS release, Android 5.0 Lollipop. It will be priced as follows:

32GB 64GB
Australia $869 AUD $929 AUD
Belgium €649 EUR €699 EUR
Canada $749 CAD $799 CAD
France €649 EUR €699 EUR
Germany €649 EUR €699 EUR
India Rs.44,000 INR Rs.49,000 INR
Italy €649 EUR €699 EUR
Japan

¥75,150 JPY

¥85,540 JPY

Netherlands

€649 EUR

€699 EUR
Spain €649 EUR €699 EUR
Sweden 6,295 SEK 6,795 SEK
United Kingdom £499 GBP £549 GBP

Unfortunately, just as in the US, Google has again stopped short of detailing exactly when the device will begin shipping. Unlike in the US, however - where pre-orders are being accepted with no indication of when customers might expect the handset to arrive - the twelve new markets are not yet accepting pre-orders, although this may change soon.

As things now stand, though, despite all these new countries seeing Nexus 6 listings being added to their stores, we"re still no closer to learning exactly when the Motorola-built handset will begin shipping to buyers.
