Nokia Lumia 929 reportedly coming to Verizon in November

Verizon may be about to land a much larger Lumia, the 929 that may be in the 5-inch class, according to a new report. The device is expected to arrive in early November and could cost $500 off contract.

The report comes from WPcentral, who has generally hit the mark with this kind of information, and they are saying that the phone could arrive as early as November 6th.

This larger device follows a series of leaks including the fact that Nokia is set to release several new phones soon, including a 6in phablet that could be coming to AT&T.

For Nokia, they have been releasing phones on a regular schedule and the Lumia 929 will be their follow-up to the Lumia 928 but the 929 will reportedly have a larger screen.

Over the past few months, Nokia has been releasing a slew of phones all with numerical names that could eventually be confusing to consumers. While this may not be a problem yet, it is something that Nokia and Microsoft should consider as the Lumia range is being expanded, provided the acquisition gets approved.

Samsung has proven with the Note series that consumers do want larger screened phones and the Lumia 929 could be one option for the company to fill this niche. With only a few weeks to go until the announcement, which could come on October 22nd, we won’t have to wait long to see if these rumors materialize.
