Nvidia is rolling out a new graphics driver under version 580.97. The latest release adds optimizations and DLSS 4 support for two big games: Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced and Senua"s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced.
Hellblade II"s enhanced update brings a new graphics preset, along with a new Dark Rot game mode, improved photo mode, and developer commentary. Those with RTX 50 Series graphics cards can also use multi-frame generation for higher frame rates. GTA V Enhanced now also supports DLSS 4 multi-frame generation on RTX 50 Series GPUs and frame generation on RTX 40 Series GPUs.
Additionally, the driver fixes two general bugs:
- Samsung 57" Odyssey Neo G9 Flicker/Underflow when idle at the desktop.
- Some notebook displays may appear dim when an external HDR monitor is connected and the display mode is set to "NVIDIA GPU only."
The list of known bugs includes the following:
- Cyberpunk 2077 will crash when using Photo Mode to take a screenshot with path tracing enabled.
- Counter-Strike 2: Text may appear slightly distorted when in-game resolution is lower than the native resolution of the display.
- Adobe Premiere Pro: Some system configurations can freeze during export using hardware encoding.
