OpenAI today announced the rollout of a Spotify Wrapped–style personalized end-of-year experience for ChatGPT users in select countries. Through this new experience, users can get an overview of their interactions with ChatGPT in 2025.
In addition to summary statistics about yearly ChatGPT usage, the experience also highlights high-level themes based on a user’s conversation history. While the feature is compelling, its availability is currently limited. To access it, users must meet the following criteria:
- The feature is available to ChatGPT Free, Plus, and Pro users. It is not available for Business, Enterprise, or Edu accounts.
- Memory and Reference Chat History must be enabled.
- Users must meet a minimum activity threshold. Accounts with low overall activity will see only basic chat statistics.
- The experience is currently available only in English and limited to users in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Users are advised to check back throughout the day to see if "Your Year with ChatGPT" has rolled out to their account. The experience can also be accessed by adding "Your Year with ChatGPT" by tapping the + icon and asking ChatGPT, “show me my year with ChatGPT.”

Over the weekend, OpenAI also added the ability for users to customize ChatGPT"s personality. In addition to choosing a base style and tone preset, users can now adjust specific characteristics individually using the ‘personalization’ pane in settings. ChatGPT now allows you to customize the following:
- Be more or less warm
- Be more or less enthusiastic
- Use more or fewer headers and lists
- Use more or fewer emojis
These updates highlight OpenAI"s focus on creating a more tailored and engaging user experience for ChatGPT users.
