Pakistani student sets world record for MPC program

Being called a Microsoft Certified Professional is a big deal if you’re a fan of Microsoft products. But what if you set a world record while doing it? This has become a reality for Pakistani student Shayan Anique Akhtar: He set a world record in the Microsoft Professional Certificate program. The exam is marked out of 1000 - and he scored 998. As you’ve worked out, he’s not bad with Microsoft products.

In addition to being a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), he is also a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and a Microsoft Professional Developer (MPD). While his age is not given, he is a student, making this all even more impressive. The Microsoft Professional certification endorses those who have shown their abilities and knowledge of Microsoft"s products, concluding in an exam to show your knowledge.

Hard work has its rewards as Akhtar’s name will appear in the Guinness Book of World Records, and he is scheduled to meet Bill Gates in July. It is a considerable privilege to meet the man responsible for a great deal of Microsoft"s previous successes.
