Playable demo of Devil May Cry 5 will make its debut at Gamescom 2018

It was back in June during E3 2018 when Devil May Cry 5 was announced. Although there is quite sometime before the game makes its retail release, it looks like those attending Gamescom will be in for a treat.

Hideaki Itsuno, who is the director of Devil May Cry 5, took to Twitter to announce that a playable demo has been completed for the game. This demo will make its debut at Gamescom and will be the first time there will be a playable demo of the game released to the public.

The game will be a direct sequel to the highly successful Devil May Cry 4, that was released in 2008, which Itsuno was also the director of. Although there isn"t a concrete date of release, we do know that the game is slated to arrive sometime during the spring of 2019. It will be made available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
