Niantic, the firm behind Pokémon GO, has released a sequel to its original game Ingress, called Ingress Prime. In order to celebrate the launch, it has announced that Pokémon trainers can grab free Ingress Prime T-shirts from the Style Shop. In addition, Niantic and Nintendo have made some special Pokémon available within the game to mark the occasion.

In order to celebrate Ingress Prime, Niantic has added in three new T-shirts that players can acquire from the Style Shop. Each includes a "futuristic" design, one represents the Enlightened faction, another represents the Resistance faction, while the third shirt features the Ingress Prime logo.

Aside from the new T-shirts, players will also be able to encounter two new Shiny Pokémon which have colours that reflect the predominantly green Enlightened faction, and the predominantly blue Resistance faction. The two Shiny Pokémon are Shiny Cubone and Shiny Ponyta; Cubone has a green body, while Ponyta has bright blue flames.
