Quitting in style, Microsoft PM sings song about Excel

Working at Microsoft typically means that you are on the higher end of the IQ spectrum. So when it comes to quitting the big company, why simply turn in a dingy piece of paper when you can write a song about programming for Excel and put your rhyming skills to full use.

The video you see above is a song to the tune of American pie and gives homage to her several years of work at Microsoft on Excel (and even gives Excel 15 a shutout) via TechCrunch.  The individuals name is Karen Cheng and she is leaving Microsoft for a new startup called Exec.

While Cheng will be going to work as a designer and her former role was a PM at Microsoft, considering her talents, maybe she should take a stab at marketing, as this video is already drawing a lot of attention

When you typically hear of a video about an employee leaving a company, you assume it’s going to be a bridge burning rant but that is hardly the case with Cheng who is pursuing her passion, design.
