Razer Laptop Cooling Pad is now at its lowest price ever on Amazon

Temperatures have been brutal this summer, and staying cool should be your first priority. Once you"ve sorted yourself out, it might be time to give your laptop the same treatment.

The Razer Laptop Cooling Pad is currently $119.99 on Amazon, down from $169.99. That"s 29% off and $50 saved on a cooling pad that works noticeably harder than the cheap alternatives.

The Razer Cooling Pad takes a different approach from most cooling pads. Instead of just blowing air loosely under the laptop, it uses an airtight pressure chamber with foam seals to prevent cool air from escaping. This is a big deal if we take into account how inefficient most cooling pads are with air control.

A 140mm brushless fan spins up to 3000 RPM and forces airflow directly into the laptop"s intake, which should make a solid difference in CPU and GPU temperatures under load, especially if the temperature of your room is already high.

Fan control is handled through Razer Synapse, which you probably already have installed if you’ve got a Razer laptop. You can choose from preset profiles or build custom fan curves based on noise tolerance or target temperature. The pad also adjusts fan speeds automatically based on system load, so you"re not manually tweaking it every time you switch from browsing to gaming.

It fits laptops from 14 to 18 inches through three interchangeable magnetic frames. There’s also a 3-port USB-A hub, along with remappable buttons, in case you need to make some adjustments on the fly.

It’s fair to say that a cooling pad at $119.99 isn’t cheap. But it"s meaningfully more capable than the $30 alternatives that just uncontrollably blow air, hoping that some of it ends up directed towards your laptop.
