Ring unveils the Video Doorbell Wired, its smallest doorbell at $59.99

Ring announced today its smallest video doorbell yet, the Video Doorbell Wired. As its name implies, the product works by connecting to existing doorbell wiring.

Video Doorbell Wired features 1080p video, night vision, and two-way audio with noise cancellation. With its custom motion detection zones, you can choose specific areas in your house where an alert should be triggered when it detects motion. You"ll then receive an alert notification through the Ring app. Otherwise, you can exclude other areas from being monitored with its privacy zones feature.

Of course, Ring"s latest video doorbell is compatible with Alexa-enabled devices to let you check who"s at your front door using only your voice. With the Ring app, you can remotely connect to the other Ring cameras, smart lights, alarm, and chimes.

If you want to check what or who triggered a motion alert through a six-second video, you can choose to subscribe to Ring"s Protect plan for $3 per month per device. It comes with additional features such as color Pre-Roll, People Only Mode, and Rich Notifications.

The Video Doorbell Wired is available to preorder in the U.S. today for $59.99 via Ring"s website and Amazon. It will ship beginning on February 24.
