Samsung Galaxy M31 with 64MP quad-camera system launched in India

Samsung today launched a new mid-range smartphone in India, the Galaxy M31. The handset is the successor of the Galaxy M30s and packs incremental improvements over it.

The device features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with FHD+ resolution. It has a glasstic design -- a plastic frame with Gorilla Glass at the front and plastic at the rear. The design is reminiscent of the Galaxy M30s, with only some minor changes. The internal specs of the Galaxy M31 also remain the same as its predecessor, with Samsung only bumping up the camera resolution of the primary camera in the quad-camera system to keep up with offerings from Xiaomi, Realme, and Vivo in India.

Some highlights of the Galaxy M31 include its ability to record 4K videos, a dedicated Night mode which is a first for a Galaxy M smartphone, slow-mo video recording from the front camera, AR Emoji, and more.

The Galaxy M31 will be available in Ocean Blue and Space Black colors. It goes on sale in India through Amazon and Samsung"s online store from March 5 for ₹14,999. The 6GB/128GB variant will cost ₹15,999.
