Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G gets a permanent price drop to $1,200

Samsung has announced a major and permanent price drop for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, making the foldable that much more affordable. The Z Flip 5G was announced last year by Samsung as a 5G version of the original Z Flip with the more powerful Snapdragon 865 Plus chip and a price tag of $1,450.

Following the launch of the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung has now reduced the price of the device permanently to $1,200. That"s a price cut of $250 from its launch price. Samsung devices usually tend to be on discount but this is a permanent price cut from the company.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a 6.9-inch foldable display and is powered by a Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset. It also packs a 12MP rear camera and an ultra-wide camera along with a 3300mAh battery. The device supports 4G LTE networks and sub-6GHz 5G networks. It is available in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Gray colors. Since the foldable display on the Z Flip 5G is pretty fragile, Samsung is also offering a one-time screen replacement offer at a discounted price of $119.

If you are planning to buy a Galaxy Z Flip 5G, you can trade-in your existing smartphone and get a trade-in credit of up to $1,000 as well.
