Samsung launches new 11-inch Galaxy Tab A11+ on a budget ahead of new year's eve

Samsung is celebrating the arrival of 2026 with a new budget tablet, the Galaxy Tab A11+. It"s a family-focused entertainment device from the South Korean giant, priced at $250 in the US.

Galaxy Tab A11+ features an updated metal unibody design, taking cues from Samsung"s premium S series with bar-type speaker holes, side keys, and camera deco. Its Book Cover accessory allows the device to be set in landscape and portrait orientation.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab A11+ features a MediaTek MT8775 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, and an 11-inch 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) 90Hz TFT LCD Display. The display panel has 480 nits of brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Much of its 477g weight is due to the 7040 mAh Li-Ion battery, which offers 15 hours of video playback on a single charge. It supports Samsung"s 25W Super Fast Charging, allowing the device to charge up 1.6x faster than Galaxy A9+. Moreover, the tablet has a 26% faster CPU and an 83% faster GPU than the Galaxy A9+.

Galaxy Tab A11+ also offers IP52 dust and water protection, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, Type-C (USB 2.0), 3.5mm audio jack, and microSD up to 2TB. The device can play Dolby Atmos-supported content through its quad-speaker setup.

In the camera department, the device features an 8MP rear shooter with auto focus and a 5MP landscape-oriented front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. While you can handwrite equations in Math Solver, the tablet doesn"t offer support for the S Pen.

The device ships with Android 16 out of the box and also offers a desktop-style experience through Samsung DeX Standalone Edition. Adding to that is the ability to work with the Galaxy ecosystem, AI features like Circle to Search, and support for SmartThings-enabled devices.

Samsung announced that the Galaxy Tab A11+ will go on sale in the US from January 8, with the 8GB/256GB variant being priced at $249.99. It will be available in Silver and Gray color options; users will be able to select the 5G version across all major carriers.
