Samsung teams up with Sami Miró Vintage on Galaxy Watch4 bands

Samsung has announced that it has teamed up with Sami Miró Vintage to create six limited-edition watchbands for the new Galaxy Watch4 series. What’s nice about these new accessories is that they’re sustainably sourced and use materials such as recycled apple peel skin. To accompany the new watchbands, Samsung has also developed three ‘beautiful’ watchfaces, available on the Google Play Store.

Discussing the new watchbands, Sami Miró from Sami Miró Vintage said:

“The colors Stratus Sky, Cloud Navy, and Midnight Black can translate from day to night while the Aurora Night and Dawn Atlas have gem hues and are perfect for when you are in the mood for a pop of color. I am proud that we sourced sustainable materials for the entire collection. My designs were inspired by the beauty of our planet and I want the collection to serve as a reminder to stay mindful and connected to the Earth.”

The Stratus Sky and Midnight Black watchbands are the two which have been made from apple peel skin. They are completely vegan but look like leather, which is not vegan. The Aurora Night, Cloud Navy, Earth Sunrise, and Dawn Atlas bands, meanwhile, are made of eco-friendly TPU material that’s non-toxic, just like those made of apple peel skin. All of the products are free of dimethylformamide (DMF) residue and are non-plasticized making them easy to recycle when you’re finished with them.

The limited quantity watchbands are now available on Samsung.com with prices starting at $39.99.
