The console is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 processor with an integrated quad-core RDNA 2-based graphics, which has plenty of power to run modern Windows games at decent frame rates.

Speaking of Windows, the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally runs a modified version of Windows 11 with a dedicated launcher optimized for controller inputs. You can boot the console directly into Xbox mode without using the standard Windows 11 UI, which is better suited for mouse and keyboard input.
