Screenshot of Nokia's Storyteller app for Windows 8 leaked

Nokia"s next press event, Nokia World, is scheduled to be held October 22nd in Abu Dhabi, where the company is expected to announce a number of new mobile products, including a Windows RT tablet that is rumored to be sold under the name the Lumia 2520. Now there"s word that the launch of the tablet will be accompanied by at least one new Windows 8 app made by Nokia called Storyteller.

A screenshot of the alleged app was posted this weekend by the @evleaks Twitter feed who also suggested that a version would also be made for Windows Phone 8 for the upcoming 6-inch smartphone, the Lumia 1520. The Twitter feed refers to both the tablet and the smartphone by their alleged internal code names, "Sirius" and "Bandit".

The Storyteller app itself appears to be a way for users to quickly catalog their photos in a number of different ways, including dates, locations, events and favorites. The screenshot also seems to imply that these image collections can be shared with others.

It"s unknown if the Storyteller app will be a Nokia Lumia device exclusive or if it will be made available for other Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 devices.
