The new Xperia L1 combines premium design with relatively modest specs, although it would perhaps be fairer to call this a "lower-mid-range" device than a truly entry-level smartphone. Shipping with Android 7.0 Nougat onboard, it will be available in three colors - black, white and pink - and its key specs include:
5.5-inch display with 720p resolution
Quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor
2GB RAM
16GB onboard storage (plus microSD card support up to 256GB)
13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash
5MP front-facing camera with wide-angle lens
4G LTE connectivity (Cat4)
Optional dual-SIM support
NFC support
Bluetooth 4.2
USB Type-C
2620mAh battery
151 x 74 x 8.7mm; 180g
The Xperia L1 will go on sale towards the end of next month in select markets across Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Pricing details haven"t yet been announced.
