Sunset Overdrive officially announced for Windows 10, possibly releasing tomorrow [Update]

It"s time to act surprised everyone, as Microsoft has officially come out and revealed a Windows 10 version of Sunset Overdrive. The nonchalant announcement came from Major Nelson"s Twitter account, where he revealed that Insomniac Games founder and CEO Ted Price will be showing up on the "This Week on Xbox" video feature tomorrow "to talk about Sunset Overdrive coming to Windows 10 PC."

Leaks regarding a PC version have been popping up all over since earlier this year, with the game even being discovered inside the Steam database. Insomniac Games" official Twitter account joined in on the fun too:

Tune in tomorrow to learn more about the best kept secret in games! https://t.co/GwzUnS6VBL

It could be that the original developer has had some sort of a hand in the PC port of the 2014 Xbox exclusive, considering the CEO himself will be there for the full reveal. According to previous leaks, the PC version will include The Mystery of Mooil Rig, Dawn Of The Rise Of The Fallen Machines and Weapons Pack DLC, and THQ Nordic will handle distribution duties.

Moreover, there"s a big chance of Sunset Overdrive releasing tomorrow for PC alongside the aforementioned video feature, as a now-removed Amazon store page that went up earlier than intended revealed a November 16 release date on it. We expect both a Windows 10 and Steam release, but its unclear if the game will come with Xbox Play Anywhere support.

Update: Insomniac Games has now confirmed the November 16 launch data via a new launch trailer uploaded to the studio"s YouTube channel:
