The Godfather makes a deal you can't refuse

EA sends word that The Godfather has now shipped out to retailers and is available in stores now in North America and will be available in European stores on March 24th. The game is available for the Playstation 2, X-Box and PC platforms currently, with an X-Box 360 and PSP version expected sometime later this year. The Godfather is rated "M" for mature and has an MSRP of $39.95 in North America for the Playstation 2, X-Box and PC version. The "Limited Edition" of The Godfather is available for Playstation 2 and X-Box for $49.95 and offers behind the scenes extras, including outtakes and voice overs from the principal stars of the game.

The Godfather is based on the novel by Mario Puzo and of course the movie of the same name. James Caan, Robert Duvall and Marlon Brando himself all lended their voices to the game to make it more authentic. The game lets you create your own Don, and bring him up through the ranks of the Corleone family. The game is based in the 1940s through the 1950s in New York City, and includes famous characters such as Sonny, Tom Hagan and of course Don Vito Corleone himself. Apparently, this is an offer you cannot refuse.
