The Nokia 7 may launch in India on October 31st

Last week, HMD Global officially unveiled the Nokia 7 in China which is set to hit retail in China later today, but it seems the company is not done with product launches yet. Recently, HMD Global sent out press invites for an event taking place in India on October 31st.

Although the company didn"t share specifics of the event, it goes without saying it"s going to be a Nokia device. The invite reads “HMD Global invites you to an exclusive gathering to unveil the next milestone for Nokia phones.”

Many people believe it"s going to be the Nokia 7 smartphone which made its way to China last week, but there"s another possibility as well. Some rumors also suggest we may see the budget-friendly Nokia 2 smartphone.

The chances of seeing the new Nokia 7 are quite high. The handset brings an excellent set of specifications on board, including a 5.2-inch display sporting a 1080p resolution with the processing handled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, a 3,000 mAh battery and IP54 certification.

Other features include a 16MP main camera for photos and videos, 5MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headset jack, NFC, and LTE Cat.6. The handset launched in two versions: one features 4GB RAM/64GB storage while the other one comes with 6GB RAM/128GB of storage.
