The SoundLink Micro punches well above its size. At just over 4 inches square and 0.33kg, it fits in a larger pocket or a small bag, but the sound it produces is genuinely impressive for something this small. Bose says it has improved the driver and passive radiator setup from the 1st generation, and that should result in crisp audio with better bass.
Battery life should be amazing for such a small device, as Bose promises up to 12 hours on a single charge. The speaker is IP67 rated, which means it’s waterproof and dustproof. So you can even take it on demanding hikes, and it should still hold its own. Bluetooth range extends to 30 feet, and you can pair two units together for stereo or party mode through the Bose app, which also gives you EQ control over bass, mids, and treble.
Only the Black and Blue Dusk colorways are currently discounted. The other colors remain at the full $129.00 price, so if you want one of those, you"ll need to wait for another sale.
