Toshiba 18 TB X300 PRO N300 PRO CMR NAS/Server hard disk drives are great deals

Last week we covered the Toshiba N300 PRO deal which is on sale for just $289 for the 18 TB model. The deal is still live so you can check it out in this dedicated article here. Meanwhile the X300 PRO model from Toshiba is also an excellent deal right now as it is on sale for just $275 (purchase link under the specs table below).

Like the N300 PRO, the X300 PRO is also based on conventional magnetic recording (CMR) technology. CMR-based hhard disk drives (HDDs) are great for 24x7 operations and up-times. This makes them great for NAS (network attached storage) as well as home server setups like media servers and such. Of course they can be used for back up purposes as well.

Like the N300 PRO, the X300 PRO is also rated for a 300 TB/year workload, which is significantly higher than Toshiba’s standard N300 line. The drive"s 7200 RPM spindle speed is paired with up to 512 MB of DRAM cache should help maintain consistent throughput under load.
