TP-Link dual-band AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 router is selling at a 47% discount

Amazon is currently offering the TP-Link AX1800 router (Archer AX21) at its lowest price to date with a 47% discount on its original MSRP. The Archer AX21 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) router offering combined AX1800 speeds of up to 1,201Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574Mbps on the 2.4GHz band.

Designed to cover a typical three-bedroom home, it uses four fixed high-performance antennas, beamforming to direct signal to devices, and a high-power front-end module (FEM) to strengthen transmission and maintain stable connections.

The router supports high network capacity with dual-band operation, OFDMA for simultaneous communication with multiple Wi-Fi 6 clients, Airtime Fairness to prevent any one device from dominating bandwidth, and four data streams to provide additional throughput. It can operate in either router mode or access point mode depending on the network setup.

Connectivity options include one Gigabit WAN port, four Gigabit LAN ports, and a USB 2.0 port supporting NTFS, exFAT, HFS+ and FAT32 file systems. The USB port can be used for Apple Time Machine, FTP, media server, and Samba server functions.

Software features include IPv4 and IPv6 support, OneMesh for whole-home coverage with other TP-Link devices, parental controls with URL filtering and time scheduling, and quality of service by device. Morover, the Tether app provides easy setup, ongoing network administration, and real-time monitoring. Finally, operating conditions range from 0°C to 40°C with 10%–90% non-condensing humidity, and it can be stored from –40°C to 70°C with 5%–90% non-condensing humidity.
