uBreakiFix will offer Google Pixel repairs in the US and Canada

If you pre-ordered a Pixel or Pixel XL, chances are you"ve spent the better part of the week getting better acquainted with your new purchase. Although Google does offer a manufacturer warranty and the option of purchasing an accidental damage plan, the company has partnered with a network of repair shops to provide owners the option of same-day repairs.

uBreakiFix is a third-party repair shop that has offered its services since 2009. Over the past few years, the operation has grown and is now available in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Under the new partnership, uBreakiFix will now offer repairs on Pixels at its 250 retail locations for those in the US and Canada.

For what will probably be one of the more common repairs, uBreakiFix will be charging $129 for a screen repair on the Pixel and $149 for a Pixel XL. If you have an issue with your charging port or battery, there will be a flat rate of $79 to replace either part.
