Verizon has announced that the Samsung ATIV Odyssey will be available online and in stores starting Thursday, Jan. 24 for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and new two-year customer agreement.

The specifications of the device are as expected, including a 4.0-inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED display, 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset, 1 GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera, 2100 mAh battery and 8 GB of on-board storage plus a microSD card slot.
