Walmart details their Microsoft Kinect pricing

Walmart, one of the largest American retailers, has detailed its pricing for Microsoft"s upcoming Xbox 360 controller-free Kinect device, offering a packaged deal for $199.

While Microsoft have yet to reveal official pricing for the device, which launches on November 4 in North America, many believe it will revolutionise the gaming experience, allowing users to control their Xbox 360 using body movements. The accessory, formerly known as "Project Natal", has been available for pre-order in some online stores (including Microsoft"s own) for a while now, with most listing the Kinect by itself for a price of around $150 -- which Microsoft says is an "estimate only," may be "subject to change".

But now one of the biggest American retailers has entered the fray, offering their own $199 bundle to woo customers. Walmart"s bundle, which is now available for pre-order, comes with the Kinect sensor, a free Kinect game of your choice and a $30 Walmart gift card.

Games with Kinect support that customers can select from for free include "Kinect Dance Central", "Kinect Joy Ride", "Kinectimals", "Kinect Sports," "Kinect Adventures" and an as-yet-un-announced "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows" by EA Play.

For an additional (but reduced) price, customers can also pre-order a second game from the above selection.

If you"re keen to try out Microsoft Kinect, you can now visit Microsoft Retail Stores across the US at locations including Arizona, California, California, Colorado.
