Warhammer 40K: Space Marine II and Death Stranding announced for Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft today unveiled the second wave of games that will be hitting its Xbox Game Pass subscription services to finish off January. The company has planned out a heavy list of games this time, which includes the co-op hit of 2024, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, and even the Sony-published Hideo Kojima title Death Stranding Director’s Cut.

Following the addition of the original Final Fantasy from Square Enix during the last wave, this time, Final Fantasy II"s updated version is incoming for all platforms too. The well-received side-scrolling Ninja Gaiden game, Ragebound, is also a part of the latest drops, making this a very well-stacked wave for subscribers.

Here are all the fresh games that were announced today for Xbox Game Pass:

  • Resident Evil Village (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Available now
  • MIO: Memories in Orbit (Cloud, Handheld, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – Available now
  • Death Stranding Director’s Cut (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S) – January 21
  • RoadCraft (PC) – January 21
  • Ninja Gaiden Ragebound (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – January 21
  • The Talos Principle 2 (PC and Xbox Series X|S) – January 27
  • Anno: Mutationem (Cloud, PC, and Console) – January 28
  • Drop Duchy (Cloud, PC, and Console) – January 28
  • MySims: Cozy Bundle (PC) – January 29
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – January 29
  • Indika (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S) – February 2
  • Final Fantasy II (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – February 3

As brand-new games arrive for subscribers, six previously added titles will be leaving the service on January 31. This includes Shady Part of Me, Starbound, Lonely Mountains Snow Riders, Paw Patrol World, Citizen Sleeper 2 Starward Vector, and Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap.

While that concludes the primary Game Pass announcements for January, don"t forget that the first Xbox Developer Direct showcase of 2026 is kicking off later this week. This will show off even more titles hitting Game Pass day one, like Playground Games" Forza Horizon 6 and Fable.
