Weekend PC Game Deals: Empires to collect, indies to claim, and Lego hauls

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

The freebie space of the Epic Games Store gave out two new games this week, which were the indie titles Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge and Strange Horticulture with unique premises.

Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge has you restoring a land to convert it into a sanctuary for frogs. This involves getting help from NPCs, photographing unique frogs to increase reputation, and even breeding unique types. Next, Strange Horticulture lands with occult puzzle-solving gameplay, where you take the role of a proprietor at a local plant store in the mystical town of Undermere.

The Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge and Strange Horticulture giveaways on the Epic Games Store will end on August 28. Next week, Machinarium and Make Way will become the latest freebies.

Next we are looking at the sole new bundle that went live this week. The Gamescom-focused collection has seven games inside it.

You get three games in the starting tier for $12. It carries Lost Eidolons, Pyrene, and The Expanse: A Telltale Series. Bumping up to the $18 tier gets you four more games. This carries Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Homeworld 3, ANTONBLAST, and Victory Heat Rally.

The bundle will be running for the next 18 days before going away.
