Weekend PC Game Deals: Halloween scares, indie fears, difficult hits, and more

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

The Humble Store put forth a bunch of new bundles this week.

The Myst and Riven Complete Collection carries exactly what the name describes, with nine classic and modern titles being included. Next, the Microids Mega Mix bundle has 22 games from its published and developed efforts.

Meanwhile, horror fans can pick up the Indie Fears bundle, which is full of smaller-scale titles with plenty of scares. Lastly, games published by Armor Games Studios have a bundle of their own, touting 14 items.

The Epic Games Store leaned into the Halloween theme heavily this week, offering two horror freebies to claim.

One of them is Bendy and the Ink Machine. This is an action-first-person horror game involving classic cartoons that are coming to life as a retired animator attempts to solve the mystery behind an abandoned animation workshop. Next, Five Nights at Freddy"s: Into the Pit is a pixel graphics adventure that takes players into the popular horror universe for a tale involving time travel.

The Bendy and the Ink Machine and Five Nights at Freddy"s: Into the Pit giveaways are slated to end on November 6. Next week, Felix the Reaper will be the latest freebie.

Free Events

If you wanted to jump into some new games without opening your wallet this weekend, three games are opening doors to everyone. Up first are the multiplayer and zombies modes of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 from last year"s entry in the hit shooter series. Next, the cooperative horror game R.E.P.O. has a free event running too, with plenty of party game potential. Lastly, Paradox has brought its hit grand strategy RPG Crusader Kings III for you to try out over the weekend.
