WhatsApp now lets you search emojis

WhatsApp keeps rolling out more and more features every day. A few days back, WhatsApp introduced file-sharing to its beta users allowing sharing of any file type. Today, a new update has been rolled out which adds an emoji search feature, making it easier for emoji-lovers to use their favorites.

This search option was originally introduced in the beta, version 2.17.238, but was reportedly causing crashes when used. In the latest update, this has been fixed and is finally working.

Users can now find a magnifying glass icon that can be used to type a word and will search for any related emojis, as seen in the picture above. Along with ease of access, this feature can also be used for finding out the actual meaning of an emoji, as at many times people have no idea what an emoji actually stands for.

This update is currently being rolled out to beta users. It is expected to make its way into the stable release soon.
