Windows scoots to new boot, but it's still kinda rooted

Anyone who dual-boots Linux and Windows knows that Windows comandeers the master boot record and that Microsoft steadfastly refuses to introduce any flexibility into its handling of MBRs. However, Microsoft has grudgingly given some ground to critics of this "nuke-first-ask-questions-later" approach with Vista. But will it be enough to satisfy users who want to run more than one OS? Sadly, the answer is no.
