Xbox 360's new TV and video services launch scheduled

On Tuesday, Microsoft will launch the long awaited Dashboard Update for the Xbox 360 console worldwide. The launch will add a new user interface for Microsoft"s game console as well as a number of new features. One of them is the addition of live television and streaming video services for the US and other countries.

In a new press release, Microsoft revealed the schedule of which TV and video services will go live on Tuesday, which will be available later in December and which services won"t be launcing until sometime in 2012. 

On Tuesday, US Xbox 360 owers will be able to check out new services such as the EPIX movie cable channel, while later in December Microsoft will finally add YouTube support for the Xbox 360 in 24 countries. It will also be adding services here in the US such as Crackle, TMZ, UFC, Verizon FiOS and Vudu. We will have to wait untl 2012 to access video services such as HBO Go, CinemaNow and Comcast"s Xfinity on Demand.
