Xbox Wireless Controller is now available for as little as $38

Microsoft"s Xbox Wireless Controller (the standard one, not those fancy Elite controllers or special editions) now costs $59.99 after the recent price increase. However, thanks to the latest deal on Amazon, you can snatch one for as little as $38 or up to 43% off the standard price.

The Xbox Wireless Controller is your go-to gamepad for almost any platform, except for PlayStation. It works with Xbox consoles, PCs (wired and wireless), mobile devices, macOS, Linux, and even Fire TV. You can use Bluetooth, Xbox Wireless, or a simple USB cable to play games. This gamepad also supports two profiles (Bluetooth and Wireless) and button customization via the Xbox Accessories app. While it is not the flashiest controller out there, it nails all the basics to cover all the gaming needs of an average PC or console player.

The gamepad works from two AA-sized batteries, which are included with each controller. They last long enough for long gaming sessions, and you can expect up to 40 hours on a single pair. Alternatively, you can swap them for a set of rechargeable batteries or a battery pack.

The Xbox Wireless Controller is available in multiple colors, but right now, you can get the Carbon Black and Electric Volt (bright green) with a massive 43% discount.
