As we reach the end of the year, typically things tend to wind down as companies prepare themselves for the upcoming year. While a majority of product announcements rarely offer surprises, Xiaomi was able to impress with its Mi MIX bezel-less handset that it debuted towards the end of last month. It comes as no surprise that the handset proved popular, selling out in a mere ten seconds. As it finally starts arriving into the hands of eager consumers, the Mi MIX has been put through a stress test and actually proves itself to be more than just a great looking handset.
YouTube user JerryRigEverything has been conducting many stress tests over the past couple years, offering a gamut of punishment for newly released devices. The channel put Xiaomi"s Mi MIX through its paces - exposing it to heat, bends and its infamous scratch test.
Luckily for the Mi MIX, the handset offers high durability thanks to its unique ceramic exterior. The ceramic exterior offers a polished glossy look, but can also survive quite a bit of abuse, unlike the more recently released Apple iPhone in Jet Black.
