Are Asus desktops reliable?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a new desktop, mostly for browsing, streaming, Office and light photo/video editing. My last two were Dell's and I generally had good luck with them.

I don't have any experience with Asus. There's a new Asus desktop with a 6th generation i5 processor on Amazon that looks pretty intriguing for $429.

Good deal or too good to be true?

My last three builds have all been ASUS MB, I have ASUS t101(android), & ASUS t100(win 10. All have been reliable. As with anything there is always a chance of having a problem.

in one word

Yes

But it's like everything, you can buy a DOA anything, but that's a non issue if the product is new, and guarantees and warranties are there for this very reason
