Looking for Budget laptop with 1920x1080, AC wifi or 100/1000 Ethernet

I'm looking for a budget laptop under $500 as thats really my current budget, I cracked the screen on my current one, but rather then replace the screen, and since it tends to overhead (And I've already reapplied thermal paste and make sure there was no dust in the heatsink) I thought it was time for a new one.

 

I'm mainly looking for a 1920x1080 screen, either AC wifi or 100/1000 Ethernet as I'm tired of transferring at 10 MB/s to my home server. and a decent keyboard. 14-15.4 inch is fine.

And weight isn't really an issue as long as its not like 10 lbs. and 4-5 hours of battery life. and an i3+ or amd though as long as its on the same level as an i3 or better

 

The 1920x1080 is the biggest one, if it doesn't have ac wifi as long as I can replace the card its not that big of an issue.

 

 

TLDR: Laptop under $500 with 1920x1080 screen and decent processor

Is Windows required? When i think of budget i think of Lenovo b/c their prices are almost always too good to be true.

It is N and 10/100 but a decent computer for the price. 

 

 

I saw a dell xps ultrabook for 630 that would fit your bill (well after 40% coupon code).  but a bit out of your price range.

Thanks Jason I'm going to go with the Aspire with the 940m with the 2 year accidental damage. Once I get the extra cash spent what I had saved on HDDs for my server lol

Try to get an IPS screen. We're authorized resellers for Asus, Lenovo and others that we don't bother with. Lenovo's lower cost laptops tend to have TFT displays that are genuinely bad to view, except for a sweet spot. An IPS makes it much nicer and generally has a better color pallet also.
