What does the 'a' mean in the 'cog'? (new install, Chrome D

I just did a clean install of Win8.1 and after installing Chrome Dev and signing in, the usual syncing of stuff happened. I assumed it is to indicate that Chrome is syncing my data. After I think I've synced the rest of the data, the 'a' in the menu button is still there. What does that indicate?

It means that it is a build using Aura for the UI. The a should go away once Aura becomes the default on Windows (the last dev builds switched between Aura and non-Aura).
