Abecedario
Hi, I've searched on google a solution, but no one works for me. My aio at work at some point got "delicensed", I must point out that it's a genuine license that worked well for some month. I tried the slui.exe method, but it ask me the activation code, and the phone method says that is not active and I must call the system administrator... We have no licenze code in the box or on a sticker, so called Acer's assistance and said happily that new computers don't ship with a code because it's written on the firmware so this will save us a lot of hassle... The only solution that they proposed was to send them the computer, but this is a problem because... well... we need it for work... Searching again I found someone suggesting that being it a dns problem, I must change the dns in the registry, but I have no idea what to put in and if this will break even more things. Please, any idea?
C:Amie
Are you dealing with Windows 8.1 Enterprise, a consumer license or the one Acer shipped on the machine?

Intersect
The OEM one shipped by acer with the computer This will help you retrieve the windows key that is normally attached to the system with a COA sticker http://www.nextofwindows.com/how-to-retrieve-windows-8-oem-product-key-from-bios/ There is no need for you to send in the system to acer.
